Great place to watch literally every sport at once.

This place is one of the oddest copy-cat sports bars to survive in Halifax. It is perhaps the worst money for value places to dine at. However, the food quality is better than expected. Thursday is wing night. You are much better off at other wing places. The main TV has lines going through it. It is as if someone tried to copy Real Sports at the Air Canada Center in Toronto. The service is not consistent and the memorabilia shop is known for selling fake memorabilia and never open.

Good atmosphere for a sports bar, you can really feel the tension of a game. Extremely busy during Thursday wing nights and waits can trend a rather long time if without reservations. If you choose to go on a Thursday however, do be kind to your server.

THURSDAY WINGS SPECIAL WILL COST $8 A POUND (12 wings a pound) cost per wing is approximately $0.66 no obligation of buying a drink with it.Places that will charge $0.50 per wing will require you to buy a drink that will cost you $2 or more which will make the cost per wing pretty similar to HFX except HFX wings r big.I got a best customer service. She came and introduced her self. Got us menus followed by water. Then asked if we need help with menu - took the order. She was very patient n helpful. She made suggestions that helped. The service was fast! Mind you the place is not overly crowded. The food quality is great. They are not greasy. You have an option to have sauce on side or on the wings. Decent amount of sauce options.The Buffalo chicken Flat bread is delicious too. This will be my go to place for wings. Will keep updating.

My boyfriend and I always love going here when we're in Halifax!! We always get wings and beer and watch hockey usually. Last time I had the donair egg rolls and it was really delicious!

Great place to catch a game. Be sure to sit upstairs or near the bar or you could have an obstructed view. Staff are very prompt, professional and friendly. Prices are high but so are every other bar downtown. Good mix of sports. During hockey night in Canada they still had the ball game on some televisions. Food was very tasty, had the appetizer sampler tray amongst our table. Very well done. Parking is not an option. You will have to find a spot on a side street or parking garage.

Bouncer was rude. Attitude was out of line.

The food was good, they do not serve margaritas but offer martinis. The martini that was ordered was blue and had significantly more ingredients than it should have. Go for the food, maybe have a beer, but don't bother getting a cocktail

Happy hours on Friday is cheaper than other places. Spacious area and bigger screens. Food (vegetarian) is tasty too.

I gotta say, for a sportsbar, they do offer some tasty menu. The atmosphere is chill and the staff friendly, pretty nice place to bring your friends if you want to have a good time.

They have chosen to stop showing big soccer games which is a shame. It's marketed as one of the fanciest sports bars in the province. However, their decision to ignore soccer like that which is probably the most popular sport in the world is unfortunate.

Good selection of beer and decent pub food

Great place for watching sports. Nice decor and a great tv view from any seat/table. Craft beer selection is okay, not outstanding. Happy hour deals could be better.

I’ve been to HFX sports bar several times but today I had the worst experience. I was so excited to have wings tonight but the customer service was extremely, extremely disappointing. The waitress who took care of us doesn’t deserve to be a waitress, I say so because hospitality is not her calling. It took about 30 minutes for us to get our food and she won’t say a word until the last minutes before the food arrived. We decided to pack what was left from our food, we asked this lady for doggie bags and unfortunately we forgot them on the table where we sat upon leaving. We returned to HFX sport bar about 20 minutes after to get our food and the same waitress who served us, the same person who gave us the doggie bags to pack our food said she had thrown the food we forgot. My frustration is that it took them 30 minutes to bring our food but they couldn’t wait 30 minutes for clients who forgot their food on a table.

great atmosphere and good food. service is decent. don’t like that kids have to be out by 9 but rules are rules. overall good spot especially on Thursdays for cheap wings and beer

Very slow service but it was burger week so it was almost expected. Food was great and service was friendly

I love the food there but last time when I went there, theses a lot of bugs on the patio in the evening.

The hfx sports bar is so amazing i would recommend it to anyone

Food and atmosphere is great! I just feel though that the turkey dinner poutine could use more cranberry sauce, AND if you're going to have donair ANYTHING on the menu: do not serve it with lettuce and use legit donair sauce, please.
